The markets declined today. The S&P 500 is down almost 4% and the S&P TSX is down 2.7%. Losses for the S&P 500 year to date are over 21%, a serious loss of capital. The TSX is down just 7.6% year-to-date because the strong oil and commodities markets have softened the decline from other sectors.
